Admissions · Grades 8–12

A different kind of school for a different kind of learner.

NuVu is a place for curious, creative students who want to make, question, explore, and take ownership of their learning.

Admissions are open for the 2026–27 school year.

Finding the right fit

Could NuVu be the right place for your child?

There is no single “NuVu student.” Many arrive knowing exactly what interests them; others are still searching. What they share is a readiness to engage differently.

01

They learn by doing

They understand ideas more deeply when they can build, test, revise, and make ideas tangible.

02

They are full of questions

Their curiosity does not always fit neatly into subjects, assignments, or a traditional school day.

03

They want meaningful work

They are motivated by authentic problems and seeing how their work can matter beyond school.

04

They are ready to grow

They may need greater challenge, more agency, closer support—or a new way to see themselves as learners.

How to apply

A simple process built around fit.

Admissions begins with a conversation—not a form. We want families to understand NuVu, and we want to understand what each student needs to thrive.

1

Reach out

Connect with Director of Admissions Karen Sutton by email, phone, Zoom, or an initial visit.

2

Visit

Tour the school, meet coaches, see students at work, and consider a student shadow visit.

3

Interview

Your family and our team talk more deeply about the student, the program, and fit.

4

Apply + decision

If the fit feels promising, we send the application and share a decision once it is complete.

Tuition + financial aid

Let’s talk openly about cost.

We know tuition is a significant consideration. Our team can explain payment options and help families understand financial aid.
